On April 16th, Mortal Kombat releases in theaters and on HBO Max. Based on
the popular ultra-violent video game series, this film follows a fighter named Cole,
who must team up with Earth’s greatest fighters against an invading dimension
known as Outworld. The majority of the cast are lesser-known, but qualified
actors. Because this film will not shy away from the crazy violence of the games, it
will have a hard “R” rating. Fans of the game will be in for quite the violent treat.

Moving on to May, on May 7th, Black Widow should
finally make its way into theaters. Following the events
of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone,
and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Scarlett
Johansson returns once more as the titular Black Widow and she will be
joined by Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, and David Harbour. After many
delays, hopefully the beloved Avenger will make her long-awaited solo film
debut this summer.

On May 21st, Free And finally, on May 28th, Fast and Furious
Guy debuts in 9 (F9) races into theaters. Yes, the NINTH
theaters. Ryan Reynolds installment in the Fast
plays an ordinary bank and Furious franchise
teller who suddenly realizes has Dominic Toretto
that he is a background and his crew going up
character in an open-world, against his younger
action-adventure video brother. Just when you

It’s comforting to see studios making an effort to produce new films after last year,
and that they are exploring different avenues to get them to consumers. So whether
you’re venturing to the theaters again or staying at home, streaming even more new
