Last year was certainly a turbulent one for movie-goers. But with 2021 now in full swing, there seems
to be some stability returning to the release schedule. In addition to releasing in theaters, some studios
are also choosing to release their films directly to streaming services on the same day. I will make note
of this in some these releases when applicable. One way or another, we will have new movies to enjoy!

Starting in March, on March 5th, Raya and the Last Dragon flies into theaters
and on Disney+. It takes place in the world of Kumandra, where an ancient evil has
returned; a girl named Raya sets out to find the only creature capable of stopping
it: the world’s last dragon. This latest Disney animated feature is directed by Don
Hall, who also directed Big Hero 6, and stars the voices of Kelly Marie Tran, Alan
Tudyk, Gemma Chan, and Awkwafina. The animation looks gorgeous!

Also on March 5th, Coming 2 America will be released,
streaming exclusively on Amazon Video. Prince Akeem has
