Recently, things have certainly changed quite a bit in the movie world. Due to the pandemic,
several films have pushed their release dates back. I won’t allow that to stop me from giving
you the best info that I can on the movies that you want to see! So here is an updated version,
still subject to change, of all the films that are coming out this summer!

June will not see a lot of new releases, due to the pandemic. However, on June
12th, Artemis Fowl premieres on Disney+. Originally planned to be released
in theaters, this film is based on the book of the same name. It follows a young
criminal mastermind prodigy, as he hunts down a secret society of fairies and
searches for his missing father. The cast includes Colin Farrell, Judi Dench, and
Josh Gad. Hopefully the movie will appeal to fans of the book, and the direct-to-
streaming approach will work out well for Disney.

Moving on to July, on the 17th, Tenet premieres in theaters.
This new action-thriller from Christopher Nolan involves
espionage, time travel, rebirth, and possibly a plot to foment
World War 3. Not much is truly known about the story of this

film, but that’s par for the course for a Nolan project. The

talented cast includes Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh,
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and John David Washington. Tenet
promises to bring the action, mystery, and entertainment.

On July 31st, Summerland Moving on to August, on the 7th,
appears in theaters. Set The Spongebob Movie: Sponge
